Two sisters, Rebecca and Flora Hawes lived in Chicago in 1892. During that time a lot was expected of women. Rebecca and Flora were not your typical ladies of that area. They could do whatever they wanted as their father had given them free reign. They loved history and adventures, so that is the direction they went. They had learned different languages and went to many different places, ending up in a sandstorm in the Sinai Desert where the sisters had been on a quest to find an important biblical manuscript. Very entertaining!

A Book Review...
Beloved Hope is the sequel to Tracie Peterson's, A Treasured Grace (Heart of the Frontier). Tracie has a great love for history of the Wild West. She has also done a great deal of studying on the facts which make the stories so real.....
Hope Flanagan was safe in Oregon City. She had survived the massacre at the Whitman Mission, but now they want her to testify in the trial of the Indians that started the attack. One of the Indians had taken her innocence from her and she knew her life would never be the same.
She met a young soldier, Lance Kenner, during the trial. Her life began to change at that point. Will Lance still want her if he finds out what really happened to her? Also what secrets does he have in his past?
This story brings emotions, anger, betrayal, grief, sadness, anxiety, happiness, hope, peace, faith, joy, love and forgiveness.
